Job Summary: The IQA Inspection Data Analytics Specialist plays a crucial role in managing and supporting all activities related to campaigns like data analytics reporting inventory management and Program management. This position requires a strategic and detail-oriented professional who can effectively coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure the smooth execution of campaigns. The Data Analyst will participate in meetings to gain a comprehensive understanding of issues and concerns and will be responsible for creating detailed quality reports. By analyzing quality concerns and data trends from ports the role will provide actionable insights to improve vehicle quality. The ideal candidate will have a background in quality assurance within the automotive industry and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.
This position is on-site in Fountain Valley CA. Remote work is not available for this role. Relocation assistance is not available for this position. Preference may be given to candidates who can start quickly and are already located in the area. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Create daily weekly and monthly port campaign status reports.
- Create vehicle inventory status reports as needed.
- Conduct new Model Year (MY) Port of Entry (POE) audits.
- Coordinate all port campaigns to minimize impact on vehicle wholesale.
- Administers budgeting and asset management.
- Performs inventory control and part distribution.
- Oversee quality assurance management.
Qualifications:
- Experience in Quality Assurance Automotive Quality Automotive Logistics or related fields.
- Proficiency in hardware and software including Microsoft Office (Excel: formula pivots power query and power pivot Word PowerPoint).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Visio to draw swim lane process flow charts.
- Expertise in creating optimizing and maintaining SQL queries.
- Knowledge of data analytic tools such as Tableau PowerBI or similar.
- Collect and analyze data to find trends anomalies and patterns and then provide insightful Business Intelligence reports.
- High degree of cross-functional cooperation and coordination.
- Ability to lead through influence rather than direct authority.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
