As our services continue to grow so does our need for accurate reliable financial operations that support the quality of care we deliver. We are looking to welcome a Revenue Accountant to our Finance team based in Heatherton Victoria.
About the role
We are seeking a detail-driven and commercially aware Revenue Accountant to join our Finance team. This role is central to ensuring our revenue is accurately recorded reconciled and reported supporting billing accuracy debtor management and month-end close processes across our growing national operations.
This is a full-time position based in Heatherton reporting to the Finance Manager with a hybrid work arrangement of 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home with flexible hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and post revenue journals and manage month-end and year-end close
- Reconcile revenue across operational systems billing platforms and the general ledger
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies variances and billing issues
- Manage direct debits and debtor processes including failed or rejected transactions
- Prepare monthly revenue reports dashboards and variance commentary for management
- Support improvements to billing workflows finance controls and system integrations
About you
- Degree in Accounting Finance or Commerce with 3 years of relevant experience
- CPA or CA qualified or working towards completion
- Experience in revenue accounting accounts receivable or financial reporting
- Strong Excel skills and comfortable working across large datasets
- High attention to detail with strong communication skills
- Experience with Xero NetSuite MYOB or similar platforms (desirable)
