Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Trade Floor Support Engineer / Trading Support Analyst to provide hands-on technical support for front-office trading environments. The ideal candidate should have strong experience supporting trading applications market data tools and end-user systems within fast-paced financial environments.

This role requires excellent troubleshooting skills strong communication and the ability to work under pressure while ensuring minimal downtime for trading operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide real-time technical support to traders and front-office users on the trading floor
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to:
  • Trading platforms
  • Market data applications
  • Hardware/software
  • Network connectivity
• Support market data tools such as Bloomberg Reuters ICE or similar platforms
• Monitor trading system performance and escalate critical incidents promptly
• Coordinate with infrastructure networking and application teams for issue resolution
• Install configure and support desktops laptops and trading floor equipment
• Maintain documentation support guides and knowledge base articles
• Ensure high availability and minimal disruption to trading operations
• Work in a fast-paced high-pressure financial environment

Required Skills

• 10 years of IT Support / Trade Floor Support experience
• Strong experience supporting trading platforms or financial applications
• Hands-on experience with Bloomberg Reuters ICE or similar market data tools
• Good knowledge of:
  • Windows environment
  • Linux basics
  • Networking fundamentals
  • Scripting (PowerShell/Shell scripting preferred)
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Strong communication and multitasking abilities
• Ability to work onsite in Midtown Manhattan NY

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in investment banking or financial services environments
• Prior experience supporting front-office trading teams
• Exposure to incident management and monitoring tools
