Quality Engineer
Job Summary
Job Summary:
Responsible for ensuring product quality through inspection process monitoring supplier quality management and customer issue resolution. Focus on continuous improvement defect reduction and compliance with quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Perform dimensional and visual inspection of incoming parts using measuring tools.
Ensure materials meet drawing specifications and quality standards.
Prepare inspection reports and maintain quality documentation.
Monitor supplier quality and generate vendor PPM reports.
Handle vendor rejections and coordinate corrective actions.
Analyze rejection data and implement improvements to reduce defects.
Conduct process and line audits as per standard procedures.
Approve/reject incoming materials and track supplier performance.
Handle customer complaints perform root cause analysis and ensure closure.
Provide technical support and resolve quality issues promptly.
Maintain customer communication and ensure satisfaction.
Work cross-functionally with production procurement and vendors.
Key Skills:
Knowledge of quality tools (7 QC tools RCA CAPA)
Understanding of inspection techniques and measuring instruments
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good communication and coordination skills
Knowledge of SAP and quality documentation
Qualifications:
Diploma / B.E. / in Mechanical or relevant field
Experience:
5 years in Quality Assurance / Quality Control/warehouse operation
