We are looking for a highly skilled Application Security Engineer to join a global cybersecurity team responsible for protecting enterprise applications and cloud environments through cutting-edge Web Application Firewall (WAF) and Zero Trust technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy configure and manage Web Application Firewalls (WAF)
• Implement and maintain Zero Trust Proxy / Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) solutions
• Monitor security alerts investigate incidents and perform log analysis
• Develop detection rules and improve security monitoring capabilities
• Integrate WAF with leading CDN platforms such as Akamai and Radware
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and recommend remediation strategies
• Support Security Operations Center (SOC) investigations
• Collaborate with Infrastructure Application and Security teams
• Build automation using Python Terraform AI tools and Cloud-native technologies
• Prepare security documentation reports and best practice guidelines

Required Skills

• Strong experience with Web Application Firewall (WAF)
• Hands-on knowledge of Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA)
• Good understanding of OWASP Top 10
• Experience with API Security
• Knowledge of OAuth SAML OIDC
• Strong understanding of HTTP DNS SSL Certificates Firewalls & Networking
• Experience with Cloud Security (AWS Azure GCP)
• Knowledge of Python and Terraform
• Exposure to Security Incident Response SOC Operations and Threat Detection
• Familiarity with AI-powered Security Solutions

What Were Looking For

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Information Security Engineering or equivalent
• 4 years of IT experience with:
  • Minimum 2 years in Network Security
  • Minimum 2 years in Application Security
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities
• Passion for Cybersecurity and continuous learning
