Your Role:
Were strengthening our content-led marketing approach to improve visibility across search engines and AI-driven answer experiences. This role partners with brand content product marketing analytics and web teams to turn search insights into prioritized topics optimized briefs and content improvements that drive performance.
The Content Optimization Specialist is an early-career SEO/AEO and content strategy professional who supports organic visibility across our brand web experience. Youll help monitor search health identify opportunities to improve performance and translate insights into clear optimized briefs and content recommendations.
This role is primarily focused on brand-level topic ideation and content development (roughly 80%) with a secondary focus (roughly 20%) partnering consultatively with product marketing teams to improve content and surface major visibility gaps. Over time youll be expected to write or co-write select content pieces while also leveraging contracted copywriter support when needed.
What youll be doing:
Monitor and report on SEO/AEO performance through a regular cadence tracking key metrics trends risks and opportunities
Maintain dashboards and performance summaries to inform prioritization and support crossfunctional stakeholders
Translate insights into an optimization backlog recommending onpage content internal linking and technical improvements
Develop searchinformed content strategies by analyzing demand intent and competitive gaps
Create clear optimized content briefs for new content refreshes and campaigns to guide writers and partners
Write or cowrite select content and collaborate with internal teams and external copywriters as needed
Stay current on AIdriven and answerbased search experiences helping make content more answerready and discoverable
Serve as an internal SEO/AEO advisor by providing guidance enablement resources and ongoing support to crossfunctional teams
What youll bring:
Bachelors degree in Marketing Communications Journalism Business or a related field
1 years of experience in SEO (and/or AEO) content marketing or digital marketing
Experience with Google Analytics Google Search Console and Semrush or similar tools required
Hands-on experience contributing to content briefs content optimization and/or publishing workflows
Comfort collaborating with writers marketers and web teams to implement improvements and track results
Ability to use data and curiosity to find opportunities ask good questions and validate assumptions before recommending action
Communicates clearlyable to explain SEO/AEO recommendations to non-specialists and align partners on next steps
Takes initiative to move work forward from identifying a topic gap to delivering a brief and supporting execution

At Baxter we are committed to equitable pay for all employees and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $68000to $93500 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location skills and expertise experience and other relevant factors.
