Network Engineer (Hybrid)

This role focuses on maintaining configuring and troubleshooting network components ensuring the reliability performance and security of all network systems. The ideal candidate will be skilled in network documentation configuration management and process improvement with experience supporting enterprise-scale network Duties and Responsibilities:Maintain configure and troubleshoot switches routers firewalls and wireless all switching and routing equipment IP-addressable devices and cabling day-to-day network maintenance installation and configuration and analyze existing network processes recommending improvements where approved process improvements and maintain related and analyze network performance recommending and applying optimization disaster recovery planning and testing for network in implementing and maintaining network security and firewall quality assurance and quality control checks on network informed of emerging networking technologies and data and documentation to support internal and external and Experience:Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or related field (or equivalent experience).3 years of experience supporting and maintaining enterprise Skills and Competencies:Proficiency with Layer 2/3 networking VLANs VPNs routing protocols and with enterprise switches routers and troubleshooting and analytical of network documentation and configuration with multicast technologies and network monitoring Skills and Competencies:Cisco Juniper or similar vendor certifications (e.g. CCNA CompTIA Network).Experience implementing network automation or knowledge of cloud networking or SD-WAN written and verbal communication Requirements:This position requires a Criminal background Equal Employment Opportunity PolicyThe company is an equal opportunity employer.
