Job Summary
The Neurology Clinicprovides diagnosis and treatment for adult and pediatric patients with neurological and neurosurgical disorders including Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) Stroke Alzheimer Dementia Dystrophy disorders Seizure disorders and Brain and Spine disorders.
TheCertified Medical Assistant (CMA)in ambulatory practice areas function as integral members of the interdisciplinary team. The CMA is responsible for direct patient care and clinic operations in the ambulatory clinic environment including the maintenance of the environment of care and supplies/equipment. The CMA shares the responsibility with other clinicians in ensuring a safe environment for the patient while providing quality care and a positive patient experience. The CMA may be required to float between ambulatory practice areas.
Shifts: 8 hour day shift Monday-Friday
No nights or weekends!
Certified Medical Assistant Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Completion of anaccredited Medical Assistant training programrequired
- Completion of CMA certification with the credentials ofRMA NCMA NRCMA CCMA or CMAArequiredprior to hire
- ValidBLS CPRcertification required upon hire; JHH accepts AHA Red Cross and military training network
- Ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of CMA experience

Salary Range: Minimum /hour - Maximum /hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
