This on-site contract position offers an exciting opportunity to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced medical practice environment.
As a Locum NP/PA in Cardiology you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating patients with cardiovascular conditions. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver patient-centered care and ensure optimal health outcomes. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations
- Diagnose and treat cardiovascular conditions
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to develop patient care plans
- Perform routine check-ups and follow-up care
- Educate patients and their families on health management and disease prevention
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Stay current with advancements in cardiology and related practices
Requirements
- Associate degree in Nursing or relevant field
- Valid NP or PA certification and state licensure
- Experience in cardiology or related medical field is preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous learning
Schedule: 12-hour night shifts
Shift Information: 7p-7a
Duties: Rounding daily progress notes admissions new consults discharges ordering medications and tests
Mostly step-down and cardiology unit patients
EMR: Cerner
Must be board-certified
Paid travel & expenses
