As a Locum CNM/PA you will play a crucial role in delivering comprehensive healthcare services in the Ob/Gyn department. You will collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to provide prenatal delivery and postnatal care. Your expertise will help us maintain our commitment to patient-centered care and support the well-being of our community.
Responsibilities
- Provide prenatal delivery and postnatal care to patients
- Conduct routine gynecological exams and health screenings
- Work closely with physicians to develop and implement care plans
- Educate patients on health nutrition and wellness
- Perform necessary procedures in accordance with standard practices
- Document patient care and maintain accurate medical records
- Respond to patient inquiries and provide guidance on care options
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to departmental objectives
Requirements
- Associate degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant studies
- Valid certification as a Certified Nurse Midwife or Physician Assistant
- Experience in an Ob/Gyn setting is preferred
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of womens health issues
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to providing compassionate patient care
- Current CPR and BLS certifications
Schedule: 3 shifts per week 7a-8:15p or 7p-8:15a
Daily Volume: 10-20 patients
Procedures: C-sections repair of episiotomies
EMR: Epic
Support Staff: Laborist and triage MDs on-site
Board certification required
