As a Senior Associate Health & Benefits Business Development you will support the growth of the Health & Benefits business in Indonesia by identifying developing and converting new business opportunities while expanding relationships with existing clients. Reporting to the Head of Health & Benefits Business Development Indonesia you will work closely with client teams consultants and specialist functions to deliver compelling propositions and high-quality execution across the sales cycle.
This role is ideal for a commercially minded professional with solid experience in employee benefits or insurance who enjoys solution-selling and stakeholder engagement.
The Role
Support the execution of the Health & Benefits business development strategy in Indonesia aligned with overall growth priorities.
Identify and develop new business opportunities and contribute to a strong well-qualified sales pipeline.
Drive cross-sell and up-sell opportunities within existing client portfolios in partnership with Account Management and Client Service teams.
Engage prospects and clients to understand their workforce needs benefits challenges and objectives.
Coordinate end-to-end proposal and tender responses including RFPs pricing inputs presentations and internal approvals.
Work closely with internal specialists (benefits consulting actuarial/analytics claims wellbeing operations) to develop differentiated client-centric solutions.
Present solutions confidently to senior client stakeholders including HR leaders finance and procurement.
Build and maintain effective relationships with insurers TPAs and external partners.
Maintain accurate and timely updates in CRM systems including pipeline forecasts and activity tracking.
Contribute market insights competitive intelligence and best practices to the broader Health & Benefits team.
Qualifications
The Requirements
Bachelors degree or equivalent relevant experience.
Typically 36 years experience in business development sales or consulting within employee benefits insurance brokerage health insurance or related professional services.
Good understanding of the Indonesia employee benefits and health insurance market.
Experience participating in or managing proposals and tenders.
Demonstrated ability to engage confidently with mid-to-senior level stakeholders.
Strong consultative selling and commercial acumen.
Clear confident communicator with solid presentation skills.
Well-organised with the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
Collaborative team-oriented approach with strong stakeholder management skills.
Results-driven proactive and resilient in a growth-oriented environment.
