Role Overview
We areseekinganentrepreneurial and relationship-driven individual to support the growth of TDIPs platform and ecosystem presence. This role sits at the intersection ofbusiness development marketing partnerships and community helping to position TDIP as a trusted partner to founders and a key player in the Canadian tech landscape.
Key Responsibilities
Ecosystem Developmentand Events
Build and manage relationships with key players across the Canadian tech ecosystem including founders venture capital firms accelerators and community organizations
Identifyand execute partnership opportunities that drive visibility deal flow and strategic alignment for TDIP
Represent TDIP at events conferences and ecosystem touchpoints across Canada
Own end-to-end execution of TDIP-hosted and partner events ( dinners ecosystem activations large-scale awards)
Design experiences that foster meaningful connections and reflect TDIPs brand
Managelogistics vendors budgets and run-of-show planning
Strategic Initiatives & Internal TD Collaboration
Work with internal TD stakeholders on initiatives such as marketing communicationsandproduct
Prepare materials and insights for senior leadership including presentations to executives
Act as a connector across internalTDteams to align on ecosystem opportunities and priorities
Business Development
Support startup banking growth by sourcing tracking and nurturing founder relationships
Build andmaintainBD infrastructure (CRM tracking systems reporting) to manage inbound and outbound opportunities
Collaborate with internal banking teams to convert ecosystem relationships into clients
Platform & Brand Development
Develop and execute initiatives that strengthen TDIPs brand within the innovation ecosystem
Create marketing collateral including pitch decks one-pagers and ecosystem materials
Contribute to social and content strategy to elevate TDIPs voice and visibility
Startup Banking & Account Management
Develop an understanding of the unique banking and financial needs ofearly-stagetechnology companies
Support onboarding and ongoing relationship management for startup clients ensuring a high-touch and founder-friendly experience
Partner with internal banking teams to support founders across core products including operating accounts cash management credit solutions and venture debt
Qualifications
23years of experience in startups venture capitaltech ecosystem buildingconsulting marketing partnerships or a related field
Understanding of the Canadian tech and venture ecosystem
Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Comfortable operating in ambiguity and building new processes from scratch
Entrepreneurial mindset with a bias toward action
Nice to Have
Experience working directly with founders or early-stage companies
Event planning or community-building experience
Familiarity with CRM tools(Salesforce)and pipeline tracking
Experience creating marketing or sales collateral
