Accessibility Reviewer

Salary/Position Classification

• $20.00 hourly Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)
• 20 hours per week
• 100% Remote Work Availability: No
• Hybrid Work Availability (requires some time on campus): Yes

Purpose of Position

This is a part-time non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.

This position will assist the College of Arts & Sciences in advancing digital accessibility by reviewing and editing video captions and remediating digital content for programs and courses in the College of Arts & Sciences

Duties & Responsibilities

• Generate review and edit auto-generated captions and transcripts for pre-recorded educational videos
• Review and correct other digital content such as PDFs as needed to ensure materials meet accessibility guidelines

Minimum Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a graduate program as a GTA at the University of North Dakota
• Demonstrated research writing and organizational skills
• Successful completion of a criminal history background check

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with caption or transcript editing
  Experience using Blackboard Yuja or OneDrive
  Experience with accessibility requirements for digital content
