Job Summary

Position Summary: The Summer SAC Team Lead facilitates a daily engaging creative and developmentally appropriate environment for children in grades K-5 which promotes social growth enhances self-esteem provides for mastery of tasks and develops self-reliance in children. The Summer SAC Team Lead is also responsible for documenting behavior incidents and accidents that result in direct communication between parents and program staff. 5 positions available.

Position Requirements:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Coursework in childdevelopment and youth enrichment programming secondary education recreation social services or relatedfield is preferred. Documented successful work history with children is required with evidence of strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Position requires a current CPR and first aid certificate to be held or obtained within anagreed-upon timeframe of employment and complete Bloodborne Pathogens training. Successful candidates will have consistent and reliable attendance with required availability to work June 8 through August 16 with 5 non-work days within a restricted calendar of when requests can be honored. The summer care site is closed on June19 and July 3.

Language Skills: Demonstrate proficiency in the English language using positive body language and tone of voice.

Physical Demands: Mobility and ability to occasionally lift and/or move up totwenty-five pounds. Hearing speech and sight are required. Specific vision requirements include close vision distance vision peripheral vision and the ability to adjust focus.

Other Skills & Abilities: The Summer SAC Team Lead must possess skills in building quality relationships with children and maintaining cooperative staff partnerships. Maintain the confidentiality of all information regarding students. Provide parent communication as appropriate related to program activities and a childs participation and choices within the program day. Perform duties with a structured daily schedule and with an awareness of program standard operating practices district expectations and Board of Education policies.

Schedule:

June 8 - August 20 2026 *Program closed on June 19 and July 3.

Up to 5 non-work days may be requested between the dates of June 15 and August 7 2026.
40Hours per week Monday throughFriday

Varied 8-hour assignments will be coordinated with successful candidates to ensure coverage of summersite hours 6:30 am - 5:30 pm.


Pay Rate:
B-2-1 / $18.10-$21.78 per hour
