Job Summary
Position Summary
The Neurosciences Clinical Trials Unit ( NCTU ) in the Department of Neurology is seeking a Physicians Assistant (PA) to support its clinical research study activities. This position is intended to carry out a limited set of APP -level (and other supporting) activities on neurology clinical research studies with the NCTU . Examples of these activities include (but not limited to): -Lumbar punctures -Intrathecal injections -Post-injection observation (and response as needed) -Blood draws and processing -Physical examinations and other assessments (including cognition and other neurological assessments) -Documentation -Data abstraction/entry -Attending study team meetings -Skin biopsies -Injecting contrast or study drug(s) with observation -Other duties as assigned in support of the NCTU clinical research studies.
