About the Role
The Executive Assistant to the Academic Lead of Psychiatry provides high-level executive and administrative support to enable effective academic research strategic leadership and clinical operations. The role supports coordination of academic governance research activity stakeholder engagement and communications across SVHM university partners and external collaborators.
The position operates as part of the Mental Health Executive Leadership administration team at Mental Health and Addiction Medicine (MHAM) and is central to ensuring the psychiatry academic program functions efficiently visibly and to a high standard.
The classification for this position will be YC90 ($83002 per annum pro rata).
Your Contribution
Essential
Demonstrated ability to provide high-level executive and administrative support in a complex fast-paced environment including management of complex diaries and competing priorities.
Proven experience coordinating meetings committees or events including preparation of agendas minutes and action plans.
Ability to work autonomously prioritise effectively and deliver high-quality work to deadlines.
Advanced administrative skills with strong attention to detail and proficiency in standard office and presentation software.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage professionally with senior medical academic and executive stakeholders.
Demonstrated problem-solvingskills time management and commitment to continuous improvement.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of an executive administration team.
A valid Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check or willing to obtain
Desirable
Experience supporting academic research or clinical leadership roles in a health or university setting.
Familiarity with research governance or hospitaluniversity partnership environments.
