Job Summary

HR/Payroll Administrator


We are partnering with a well established and growing organization in the construction sector to identify a highly skilled HR/Payroll Administrator.


This will be a key role supporting both payroll operations and HR compliance initiatives. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced hands-on environment and has a strong understanding of payroll processes within construction or field-based industries.


The HR/Payroll Administrator will be responsible for managing end-to-end payroll processing for approximately 150 employees while ensuring full compliance with applicable regulations including Alabama state laws. This individual will also play a critical role in supporting HR-related functions and maintaining internal compliance standards.

  • Processweeklypayrollforunionandnon-unionemployeesinahigh-volumeenvironment
  • Ensurecompliancewithfederalstate(Alabama)andlocalpayrollregulations
  • Maintainaccuratepayrollrecordsreportingandaudits
  • PartnerwithleadershiponHRcomplianceemployeerelationsandpolicyadherence
  • Supportonboardingprocessesandemployeedocumentation
  • MonitorandensurecompliancewithACAandotherregulatoryrequirements
  • Assistwithjobcostinglaborallocationandpayrollreportingtiedtoprojectwork
  • Handlesensitiveemployeematterswithprofessionalismanddiscretion


Qualifications:

  • 5yearsofexperienceinpayrollprocessingand/orHR
  • Constructionindustryexperience
  • StrongknowledgeofHRlawscomplianceandpayrollregulations
  • Experienceprocessingpayrollfor100employees
  • FamiliaritywithAlabamaemploymentlawsrequired
  • Experiencewithinternalpayrollsystems(non-outsourcedenvironmentspreferred)
  • Highattentiontodetailconfidentialityandabilitytomanagesensitiveinformation
  • Bilingual(Spanish)aplus
  • Experienceinenvironmentswithjobcostingorproject-basedaccounting
