Essential Job Functions:
- Maintains an inviting safe orderly environment
- Works collaboratively with staff members at the site
- Maintains a clear and consistent line of communication with program staff school administration and parents
- Completes weekly planners and monthly calendar
- Develops schedules that incorporate student interests and ensure their successful implementation
- Provides day-to-day oversight of programs and after-school staff
- Monitors student behavior on site during program hours
- Holds monthly meeting with program staff
- Communicates regularly with Director and Assistant Director regarding all aspects of the program
Other Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Demonstrates strong leadership skills and team-building skills
- Must have the ability to be flexible and to work collaboratively
- Available to work both before & after school
- Available to work February & April vacations
- Available to work 8-week summer camp
- Background in education preferred and must have a passion for working with children
- High School Diploma required/ Degree preferred
