Foreman

BESIX Watpac is seeking a Foreman to join our Qld Construction division.  While we hire for the long term initially you will be based on our Ipswich Hospital Expansion project within a supportive and highly experienced team.

This role will be responsible for:

• Organising on a daily and weekly basis the sequencing of on-site activities including the co-ordination of materials equipment and personnel.
• In consultation with the Site Manager allocating necessary site staff and resources and ensuring that all the resources for the project are available when required.
• Reviewing the construction programme with the Site Manager re-sequencing activities as necessary to achieve the programmed completion date.
• Ensuring that the Companys policies and practices on safety industrial relations and quality assurance are implemented at the work face.
• Ensuring compliance with standards and contract documents.

Qualifications :

The incumbent in this role will require:

• Qualifications in building/construction or a trade qualification in a construction related field.
• Demonstrated success supervising the delivery of commercial or industrial building projects within time cost and quality requirements.
• Ability to communicate influence and build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
