• Leadership & Team Management
• Supervise and support a team of plumbing technicians dispatchers and apprentices.
• Lead recruiting hiring training and performance evaluations.
• Foster a positive team culture focused on growth accountability and high performance.

• Plan schedule and coordinate daily plumbing operations to maximize efficiency.
• Monitor job progress technician productivity and quality control.
• Ensure timely completion of jobs and that all work meets company and code standards.

• Ensure excellent customer service throughout all phases of service delivery.
• Handle escalated customer concerns and resolve service issues.
• Collaborate with sales teams or estimators to support sales efforts and upselling opportunities.

• Track KPIs (revenue profit margins call conversion rates etc.).
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting for the plumbing department.
• Review job costs manage department expenses and identify areas for improvement.

• Enforce company safety policies and procedures.
• Ensure all work adheres to local state and national plumbing codes.
• Stay updated on industry trends certifications and regulatory changes.

• Licensed Journeyman or Master Plumber (preferred but not required depending on state regulations).
• In-depth knowledge of plumbing and septic systems repairs and installations.
• Minimum 5 years of plumbing experience including 2 years in a leadership/management role.
• Plumbing Contractor or Journeyman license preferred.
• Strong knowledge of residential and/or commercial plumbing systems.
• Proven ability to lead coach and motivate teams.
• Familiarity with service software (e.g. ServiceTitan Housecall Pro) is a plus.
• Strong communication organizational and problem-solving skills.

• Strong team management and coaching skills.
• Ability to motivate technicians and ensure high productivity.
• Excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills.

• Experience with scheduling software job costing and reporting.
• Proficiency in CRM and service management software (e.g. FieldEdge).
• Understanding of budgeting profitability and KPIs.

• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve service-related challenges.
• Focused on continuous improvement in service delivery.

• 5 years of experience in plumbing service operations.
• 3 years in a leadership or managerial role (Service Manager Lead Technician or similar).
• Experience working with residential commercial or industrial plumbing systems and sewer systems.
• High school diploma or equivalent (trade school or technical training preferred).
