About the role
Looking to make a real impact in a growing campus community Join us as a Librarian at the Liverpool Campus and play a key role in supporting student success and academic excellence.
In this dynamic and highly autonomous role you will deliver high-quality library services including research consultations information literacy workshops and outreach activities for a diverse university community. Youll also support the day-to-day operations of a small campus library ensuring seamless access to spaces resources and services.
Working closely with academic staff campus colleagues and Library teams across campuses you will build strong relationships align services with teaching and research needs and contribute to innovative user-centred library initiatives.

Our Library Services Division sits at the heart of the research ecosystem driving innovation engagement and collaboration to support a thriving research community. This role sits within the Regional Metro International Library Services Team.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality client information and research services including tiered support research consultations workshops and circulation.
- Support day-to-day Library operations including maintaining library spaces reporting service needs and emerging trends and collecting data to inform decision-making.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with Liverpool Campus academic and professional staff to align Library services with teaching and research needs.
- Provide discipline and collection expertise to support Library strategic objectives and alignment with Liverpool Campus curriculum and research requirements.
- Maintain effective liaison with Wollongong Campus Library through regular communication and support for policy implementation meetings and projects.

You are a proactive client-focused library professional who works confidently both independently and as part of a connected team.
You bring experience in delivering high-quality client services and supporting information and research literacy complemented by strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Adaptable and solutions-focused you collaborate effectively across locations and contribute to service improvements and team initiatives.
Essential Requirements
- A relevant degree and/or equivalent professional experience with eligibility for ALIA associate membership highly regarded.
- Demonstrated experience in delivering client service information and research literacy support.
- Demonstrated high-level communication presentation and relationship-building skills
- The ability to work with a high degree of autonomy while collaborating effectively across teams
