Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist
Salary Range: $39-$45 per hour 35 hours per week Monday-Friday with weekend rotation
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Speech Language Pathologist. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for helping individuals with speech and language disorders and will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. As a Speech Language Pathologist you will work with a diverse population of clients and provide individualized treatment plans to help them improve their communication skills. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary range of $39-$45 per hour along with a 35-hour work week and a weekend rotation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess clients speech language and communication needs
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results and client goals
- Implement evidence-based therapy techniques to address speech and language disorders
- Monitor and track clients progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals such as physicians psychologists and educators to provide holistic care for clients
- Educate clients and their families on strategies to improve communication skills at home
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and treatment plans
- Participate in team meetings and case conferences to discuss client care and progress
- Keep up-to-date with current research and trends in the field of speech-language pathology
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Current state license or eligibility for state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders and evidence-based treatment techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Proficiency in using technology and computer software for documentation and treatment purposes
- Availability to work a full-time schedule with a weekend rotation
