Speech Language Pathologist Assistant School

Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to support middle and high school students in a dynamic school-based setting in Houston TX. This is a split campus role designed to provide meaningful impact across both middle school (2.5 days) and high school (2.5 days) environments.

• Full-time school-based SLPA role (split between middle & high school campuses)
• Collaborative environment with 2 3 SLPs per campus
• District strongly prioritizes manageable caseloads and balanced workloads
• Opportunity to work with diverse adolescent student populations

• Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) is mandatory
  • Candidate must be able to actively communicate and hold conversations in sign language

• Must hold a Texas Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license
  OR be actively in the process of obtaining licensure
• Experience or interest in working with middle and high school-aged students
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
