Pay: $35.96$50.08/hour
Schedule: Full-Time Days Preferred 8:00 AM4:30 PM Rotating weekend coverage

A respected skilled nursing and rehabilitation provider in the Watkins Glen / Montour Falls NY area is seeking a full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join its care team. This role focuses on evaluating and treating patients with speech language cognitive communication and swallowing disorders in a collaborative patient-centered setting. Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Perform speech language cognitive and swallowing evaluations
• Develop individualized treatment plans with measurable goals
• Provide skilled therapy based on physician referrals and patient needs
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as appropriate
• Document evaluations treatments and patient outcomes accurately and on time
• Educate patients families and caregivers on treatment plans and safety strategies
• Collaborate with providers nursing staff and rehabilitation team members
• Supervise rehab aides in accordance with state guidelines
• Maintain current clinical knowledge through continuing education
• Support high-quality person-centered care across the rehab program

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology
• New York State SLP license or eligibility for licensure
• CFs welcome
• CCC-SLP preferred for experienced candidates
• Skilled nursing rehab long-term care or post-acute experience preferred
• Strong communication organization and time management skills

Physical Requirements

• Ability to assist with lifting and moving patients
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
