DCM & ECM EXPOSURE TOP TIER GLOBAL LAW FIRM HONG KONG
A toptier international firm is seeking a highcalibre junior associate to join its Capital Markets team in Hong Kong. This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to a strong pipeline of crossborder DCM and ECM transactions working with leading issuers underwriters and financial institutions across Asia.
You will be part of a wellestablished and collaborative team with early responsibility and direct involvement in highprofile transactions offering a strong platform to build a technically robust and commercially rounded capital markets practice.
WHAT
You will support on a broad range of debt and equitylinked transactions including international bond issuances (Reg S / 144A) MTN programmes regulatory capital and hybrid instruments as well as convertible bonds and other equitylinked structures. The role involves drafting and negotiating transaction documentation advising on listing and securities law requirements and working closely with regulators exchanges and global teams to execute multijurisdictional deals.
YOU
Youre a qualified lawyer (Hong Kong England & Wales or similar) with up to 2 years PQE and relevant capital markets experience ideally with a DCM focus at a peer firm (Legal 500 ranked international or global law firm whose team is ranked for DCM ECM or both). Strong drafting and analytical skills are essential alongside a commercial mindset and the ability to perform in a fastpaced environment. Fluency in written and spoken English and Mandarin is essential.
