Role Overview:
As an Architect / Lead Developer you will own the technical direction system architecture and delivery of major platform capabilities across both patient-facing and provider-facing workflows. You will play a hands-on leadership role in designing scalable systems guiding engineering teams and ensuring high standards of performance security and reliability. This role is ideal for a senior engineer who enjoys both architectural ownership and hands-on execution and who is excited to build ML/AI-enabled healthcare products at scale.
Key Responsibilities
Must-Have
- 7 years of professional software engineering experience
- 2 years in a technical leadership role (Lead Developer Tech Lead or Architect)
- 2 years of experience shipping ML/AI-enabled products
- Strong experience designing scalable web architectures including REST and/or GraphQL APIs
- Experience with background jobs queues and caching strategies
- Proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript and at least one backend stack ( preferred)
- Strong experience with relational databases
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred) infrastructure-as-code and containerization
- Proven track record of improving engineering velocity and code quality
Nice-to-Have
- Healthcare domain experience including FHIR HL7 and secure handling of PHI/PII
- Experience with real-time systems (e.g. WebRTC LiveKit)
- Experience with event-driven architectures
- Background in building multi-tenant SaaS platforms with complex permission models
- Familiarity with agent-enabled streaming frameworks
