RN Telephone Triage Nurse

Your Role:

• Utilizes expert decision-making skills and clinical expertise in performing comprehensive telephone triage.
• Ranks patients health problems according to their urgency educating and advising patients and making safe effective and appropriate dispositions.

Required Education:

• Associate degree (or equivalent) in nursing.

Preferred Education:

• Bachelors or masters degree in nursing.

Required Experience:

• Two (2) years of acute care experience.

Preferred Experience:

• Critical care emergency center home health occupational health or APRN experience.

Required Certification/License/Registry:

• Licensed as a registered nurse (RN) or an advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) in accordance with Florida Statutes (FS) Title XXXII (Regulation of Professions and Occupations) Chapter 464 (Nursing) Part I (Nurse Practice Act) includes multistate compact licensure.
