Objective:

We are currently seeking an Engineering SolutionsDevelopment Director specializing inEngineeringpre-sales consulting product demonstrations solutiondevelopmentand pricing support related to engineering products and services.This role sits within Asia PacificClient Growth Functional OccupierSolutionsstructureand supports the Asia PacificWorkDynamicsbusiness.Our engineering solutions mission is to increase the efficiency through the entire solutioning journey by providing supportive andtimelysales content pitch support product demonstrations pre-sales support RFP/RFI responsesales strategypricing and solutioning reviews and supportfocusing on technical and engineeringservice lines.

What this job involves:

This position will include bringing bestengineeringpractices to the salesand solutioningprocess all while working closely with theregionalteamsto improve performanceand increasespeed ofengineering content delivery.You will

  • Act as subject matter expert in the engineeringoperations/products arena supporting theAsia PacificWork Dynamics(WD)business.

  • Provide engineeringexpertiseand support onnew salesopportunities including expansions within the current portfolio net newopportunitiesandrenewals.

  • Work closely with sales and solutionsfunctional leadership to drive engineering best practices withinthe IFMbidresponses.

  • Manage and lead the sales development of the engineering specialty products and drive coordination with thedepartment leaders to manage sales platform and pipeline reporting.

  • Support the divisionalWDleadership andcentral solution/salesteams ontechnicalsales pitches and client engagements/presentations.Participate in client presentations and client Q & A sessions.

  • Improve speed-to-respond with regards toengineeringproduct demonstrations and proposalinputs.

  • Encourage team innovation byestablishingmore tailored and uniqueengineering solutionsfor addressingclient challenges outcomesand business requirements.

  • Participate in RFP/RFIresponse efforts as needed; this could include collaborating on technical responses example deliverablespresentations staffing modeldevelopmentand pricing exercises.Make recommendations to the bid management team on improvements to proposal language and technical deliverables.

  • Collaborate withEMEAand Americasregions for global pursuits to create a cohesive engineering delivery modelthat is scalable while being regionallyviableand pragmatic.

  • Leveragebroader JLL Engineering Operations Product and Global Operationsexpertiseto help Solutions Developmentwithbest-in-classengineering approach.

  • Attend sales pursuit debriefs to provide feedback on the sales cycle team approach win themes and client engagementrelated to the engineering services lifecycle.

  • Act as a liaison with theengineering organizationand the Product Engineering team for continual product improvement idea sharing and general collaboration.

  • Develop and lead the bundling of engineering specialty servicesand technicalsolutionsand products to produce value added offerings.

  • Display leadership characteristics that motivate the team to work cross-functionally with manydifferent levelsof sellers.

  • Work with theSales& Solutionsteam to develop strategiesguidelinesandtemplatestoimprove success and seller experience.

  • Be an active member of the Regional and GlobalJLLEngineering community.

  • Implement standard business operating mechanisms such as regular team meetings strategic review forums training conferences and regular analysis and reporting processes to ensure team engagement and alignment and to provide an effective and efficient Engineering Solutions Development.

  • Position could require up to30% travel.

Sound like youBefore you applyitsworth knowing what we are looking for:

  • Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent.

  • Minimum of15yearsengineeringoperationssolutions/salesexperience related to FM service deliveryand technical services deployments

  • Sales engineeringand solutions experience

  • Experience with supporting sales presentations and leading as the engineering solutions subject matter expert

  • Ability to interact with c-suite internally and externally

  • Thorough knowledge of sales& solutionsprocess ability to convert prospect clients to solution/win/transition phase

  • Ability to articulate value proposition to prospect clients(c-suite) and deliver ondeveloped engineeringsolution
