About the company
Remote World is partnering with a US-based data analytics company to hire for this role. They build business intelligence tools for retail and FMCG clients ingesting and processing millions of rows of sales data daily. Python is at the heart of their data pipeline and API layer.
The role
Youll build and maintain data pipelines APIs and automation scripts that keep the platform running reliably. Youll work alongside data engineers and analysts writing clean well-tested Python code that processes large datasets and surfaces insights to clients.
What youll do
- Build and maintain data ingestion pipelines and ETL workflows in Python
- Develop and extend REST API endpoints using Django or FastAPI
- Write scripts for data cleaning transformation and reporting automation
- Debug data quality issues and trace them back to source
- Write unit tests and contribute to improving code coverage
What youll need
- Strong Python skills you write clean readable well-structured code
- Experience with data manipulation libraries (Pandas NumPy)
- Comfortable with SQL and relational databases
- Detail-oriented data pipelines require precision
Nice to have
- Experience with Django Flask or FastAPI
- Familiarity with cloud data services (AWS S3 BigQuery Snowflake)
- Exposure to task queues (Celery) or workflow orchestration (Airflow)
