The Company is seeking to hire a skilled Backend Developer who will be responsible for developing and maintaining secure scalable and high-performance applications using Java with working knowledge of C# technologies.
The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing backend services APIs database structures and system integrations that support critical business operations and customer-facing applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Design develop test and maintain backend applications and services using Java.
Build and maintain RESTful APIs and system integrations.
Develop scalable secure and high-performing backend solutions.
Collaborate with frontend developers product managers and other stakeholders to deliver business requirements.
Write clean maintainable and well-documented code following best practices.
Troubleshoot debug and resolve application and system issues.
Optimize application performance database queries and system efficiency.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with security regulatory and data protection standards especially within the financial services industry.
Assist in database design maintenance and optimization.

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering Information Technology or a related discipline from a reputable university.
23 years of backend development experience preferably in a fintech or banking institution.
Strong proficiency in Java and experience with Java frameworks such as Spring Boot.
Working knowledge of C# and framework.
Experience developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
Knowledge of relational databases such as MySQL PostgreSQL or SQL Server.
Experience with Git and version control systems.
Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
Experience with payment systems financial applications or transaction processing platforms.
Familiarity with cloud platforms and containerization technologies is an added advantage.
Knowledge of application security and secure coding practices.
Strong analytical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
