Job Description:
- The HM Post Closing Specialist manages warehouse unpurchased loan pipelines and ensures loans are fully prepared for delivery to investors or insurance agencies.
- This role involves obtaining and reviewing necessary documentation performing compliance and ad hoc audits and providing suspense and error trend analysis to Operations Centers.
- The specialist will also address any issues that arise after loan closing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage post-closing activities including clearing investor or agency suspense conditions.
- Work with EMB lenders title companies counties and borrowers to resolve outstanding final documents and loan deficiencies.
- Support insuring or guaranty processes for government loans.
- Oversee the escrow holdback process.
- Perform compliance audits and ensure adherence to applicable FAMC state and federal regulations.
- Review and audit required closing documents from closing agents ensuring all funding conditions are satisfied.
- Review and audit original and final Closing Disclosures (CD) for any changes.
- Coordinate with closing agents and brokers to obtain missing items at closing.
- Conduct final document follow-up.
- Release funding numbers to closing agents once all reviews and audits are complete.
- Order and manage disaster inspections for properties located in affected areas.
