We are seeking a proactive and commercially driven Investor Relations VP or Director to accelerate capital-raising efforts across multiple investor segments in the U.S. market. This role is focused on new business generation and relationship development with a wide investor remit - from institutions to insurance endowment and Foundation. You will be responsible for originating and developing relationships representing Tikehaus platform and strategies and helping position the firm as a key partner for U.S.-based allocators seeking differentiated alternative investment solutions.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
New client origination: Proactively identify and approach prospective clients across the U.S. leveraging your expertise and network.
Sales strategy execution: Lead the entire business development cycle: from lead generation pitching and negotiation through onboarding and ongoing relationship management;
Product and asset class knowledge: Develop an in-depth understanding of Tikehau Capitals products and asset classes including Private Debt Private Equity Real Estate and Capital Market Strategies to effectively communicate their value proposition to clients;
Collaboration: Work closely with local offices to ensure alignment in sales strategies and execution fostering strong collaboration and communication channels;
Territorial development: Map out and develop underpenetrated geographies with targeted outreach and relationship-building activities. Travel as necessary to attend meetings events and conferences;
Reporting: Utilize tools such as Salesforce Pardot and Excel to track sales activities analyse data and generate reports to inform decision-making and optimize sales performance;
Additionally you will be expected to:
Develop a comprehensive understanding of local regulatory frameworks governing financial products to ensure compliance in all sales activities;
Plan and execute local events to promote the Tikehau Capital brand and enhance awareness within the target markets;
Maintain a strong command of Tikehau Capitals investment strategies deal pipeline and fund performance to effectively communicate key insights to clients;
Translate complex investment concepts and performance data into clear compelling narratives tailored to a private wealth audience across both written materials and verbal interactions.
Profile:
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
Language skills: fluent in English French is a plus enabling effective communication with clients and colleagues across multiple regions.
Experience: minimum of 10 years of business development or fundraising experience preferably within private markets or alternative investments.
Location: based in New York with willingness to travel.
Fundraising track record: Proven ability to raise assets or unlock new distribution opportunities across multiple investor types.
Excellent communicator: capable of translating complex investment strategies into clear compelling narratives.
Market knowledge: strong understanding of the United States and Canada markets with the ability to adapt sales strategies accordingly.
Interpersonal skills: excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills with the ability to effectively engage with diverse client profiles and tailor solutions to their needs.
Must hold current and valid FINRA securities licenses.
