Force Customs- Automotive 12V Technician
Job Summary
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform custom installations of emergency lighting sirens radios partitions and other vehicle components.
- Wire and test electronic components to ensure proper function and safety.
- Diagnose troubleshoot and repair equipment and systems as needed.
- Follow established procedures safety protocols and quality standards.
- Document work performed including parts used and time spent in accordance with company and client requirements.
- Collaborate with other technicians and team members to meet project deadlines.
- Maintain a clean organized workspace and care for all tools and equipment.
- Stay updated with the latest vehicle upfitting technology and best practices.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required; technical and trade school preferred.
- Previous experience with vehicle upfitting automotive electronics or a similar field is preferred.
- Knowledge of vehicle electrical systems wiring and diagnostic procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals wiring diagrams and schematics.
- Strong attention to detail troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
- Must have a valid US government issued Drivers License safe driving record and eligible to work in the United States.
- Must be able to pass pre-employment background screening and drug test.
Compensation: Depends on Experience
