THE ROLE

Our hotel team is seeking a motivated and energetic Maintenance Technician to join the Maintenance Department and be responsible for the upkeep and repair of a hotels physical structure equipment and grounds.

What we will ask of you:

• Perform maintenance and repairs and preventative maintenance to all areas of the hotel.
• Service hallways public areas and rooms as needed along with all other tasks as assigned.
• Complete all maintenance requests and tasks as assigned for the day.
• Visually inspect public areas and overall resort for cleanliness appearance and safety.
• Maintain a clean and organized maintenance shop and for the security of the hotel inventory and assets such as tools supplies furniture fixtures and equipment.
• Respond quickly and efficiently to all guest requests; Practice chemical safety rules and follows procedures for needles and other hazardous materials.
• Report all suspicious persons activities or hazardous conditions to the Maintenance Manager.
• Follow all Lost and Found protocols.
• Maintain high standards of guest relations when in contact with the guest.
• Ability to order supplies to receive instructions for the day and/or to read equipment manuals including safety information.

Requirements for Success:

• Have a positive energy be ready to assist fellow support staff and work as a team player
• Prior maintenance experience is preferred.
• Good communication and multitasking skills.
• Ability to assist in all maintenance duties
• Additional education training or certification preferred
• Must be able to work days nights weekends and holidays
• Ability to constantly stand and walk with occasional stooping kneeling ascending reaching pushing pulling or lifting
