Job Description
The Patient Access Representative (Back Office) manages the Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) work queues and completes all incoming requests.
The responsibilities of this position include managing clinic documentation indexing medical records into the electronic EMR transcribing inbound referrals routing clinical orders and providing other non-clinical support as requested. The Patient Access Representative collaborates with clinic staff leadership and providers and may interact with patients as needed.
Key Responsibilities (Back Office):
-Document Management: Monitor Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) work queues and efficiently complete tasks
-Index Records: Process and index incoming records into the electronic EMR and route to appropriate staff as needed
-Transcribe Referrals: Transcribe inbound referrals and route clinical orders as needed.
