POSITION OVERVIEW

The Assistant Food & Beverage Manager supports the Food & Beverage Manager in overseeing dining staff bar operations and club event execution. This position manages F&B outlets in the absence of the F&B Manager and plays a key role in training inventory and member satisfaction.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain a significant floor presence to ensure member satisfaction and employee productivity; handle member inquiries concerns and implement service improvement ideas.

  • Manage all food and beverage outlets in the absence of the F&B Manager including beverage carts snack bar pool service area and indoor and outdoor dining areas.

  • Assist with ongoing staff training including pre-shift meetings live training and training videos.

  • Assist with ordering and inventory control of liquor wine and beer.

  • Actively participate in the planning and execution of Riverside special events.

  • Assist in creating revenue-generating F&B programs by identifying sales opportunities through marketing promotions and special events.

  • Adhere to all safety sanitation food preparation food storage and alcohol beverage control policies.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 24 years of progressive responsibility in the food and beverage industry required.

  • Skill in resolving customer issues and delivering excellent customer service.

  • ServSafe certification required within 90 days of employment.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Solid time management organization and prioritization skills.

  • Flexible schedule with the ability to work long days and non-traditional hours.

  • Ability to make sound decisions quickly.

  • Valid drivers license required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

  • Occasional lifting of up to 35 lbs.
