Job Summary
Position Summary
This position will serve as a Clinical Research Coordinator Intern within the Research Coordination and Management Unit ( RCMU ). The RCMUs internship program is seeking a candidate who is interested in pursuing a career in clinical research in an academic medical setting. The selected candidate will be provided with an extensive introduction to the fundamental skills required to embark on a career as a research coordinator. The intern will be exposed to the principles and application of good clinical practice and research regulations. This position will work alongside RCMU staff and its clients to assist with providing programmatic and operational support and direct study support across various patient populations by recruiting consenting and enrolling participants to research studies performing study procedures and collecting data per study protocols. Upon completion of the 9-12 month position the intern will have been exposed to the requisite skills and experience necessary to competitively seek a full-time research coordinator position.
Work Schedule
30 40 hours/ week
