Job Summary

Job Characteristics

The Logistics Manager is a key leadership role responsible for driving workforce capability operational excellence and resilient logistics performance at the Ecolab Buenos Aires site. This role supports in recruiting and talent planning efforts fosters continuous improvement and ensures strong team engagement and sitelevel execution. The position partners closely with functional leaders across North America and International Markets through informal reporting relationships to align strategies share best practices and support global logistics objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Talent Strategy

  • Support recruiting onboarding and talent planning for the local logistics organization.
  • Develop and maintain talent pipelines and talent pooling strategies to ensure continuity and future capability.
  • Coach engage and develop team members to build a highperforming inclusive and resilient workforce.
  • Drive local team engagement initiatives aligned with global people strategies.

Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement

  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives across logistics and supply chain processes.
  • Identify prioritize and execute operational improvements using data KPIs and structured problemsolving.
  • Support and resolve onsite technical and operational issues impacting logistics performance.
  • Promote standard work best practices and operational discipline.

Site Performance & Resiliency

  • Lead site performance reviews for the logistics function including productivity service cost and compliance metrics.
  • Develop and maintain resiliency and contingency plans to mitigate risk and ensure business continuity.
  • Partner with regional and global stakeholders to align local execution with broader supply chain strategies.

Collaboration & Global Connectivity

  • Maintain strong informal reporting and collaboration relationships with North American and International Markets.
  • Share insights best practices and lessons learned across regions.
  • Act as a key site representative in crossregional initiatives and projects.

Community & Stakeholder Impact

  • Support community impact initiatives and local engagement aligned with company values.
  • Represent the logistics function in sitelevel discussions and broader stakeholder engagements.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelors degree in supply chain Logistics Business Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of leadership experience managing teams or leading functional initiatives.
  • Strong Supply Chain or Logistics background in an operational environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in talent development team engagement and continuous improvement.
  • Strong problemsolving communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred

  • Advanced degree (MBA masters in supply chain or Operations).
  • Experience working in multinational or matrixed organizations.
  • Exposure to site resiliency planning and operational risk management.
  • Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma or continuous improvement methodologies.
