Position Summary...

As Sr. Data Scientist in the Walmart Core Ops & Strategy Enablement team you will be asenior individual contributordriving some of the most important experimentation and modeling work across and analyze experiments buildpropensityand churn models and help turn successful approaches into reusable data science assets. What youll do...

• Design and analyze experimentsthat span multiple Walmart journeys benefits and channels partnering closely with the Member Acquisition & New Benefits and Member Engagement & Retention teams.
• Build andmaintainmodelssuch as propensity churn and uplift to answer high-impact strategic questions and support critical decisions.
• Translate test and model resultsinto clear actionable recommendations that inform product roadmaps marketing strategies and portfolio bets.
• Refactor and standardize code and methodsinto reusable templates feature sets or libraries that other data science teams canleverage.
• Partner with data engineering and platform teamsto improve data pipelines and access patterns needed for fast experimentation and modeling.

About the team:
The Walmart Core Ops & Strategy Enablement Data Science team is integral to the Walmart ecosystem focusing on developing experimentation frameworks and rapid-turn models like propensity and churn. The team transforms innovative solutions into reusable data science assets collaborating closely with Member Acquisition and Member Engagement teams. Utilizing expertise in data science machine learning Python SQL and data visualization the team delivers rigorous experimentation actionable insights and scalable models. Their work supports multiple customer journeys and channels driving impactful business outcomes through advanced analytics and strategic data applications. Bentonville Arkansas US-30008: The annual salary range for this position is $90000.00 - $180000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :

Minimum Qualifications...

Option 1- Bachelors degree in Statistics Economics Analytics Mathematics Computer Science Information Technology or related field and 3 years experience in an analytics related field. Option 3 - 5 years experience in an analytics or related field.
