As a Registered Dietitianat Hastings Senior Health & Livingyou will collaborate with our on-site leaders and culinary team to use your clinical expertise to develop a plan for each resident to help achieve their goals. Additionally you will be a part of an established team where your clinical knowledge and critical thinking will be an asset.This temporary position will begin in August and end in January.

Position Type: Full-Time. This will be a temporary position from August to January working 40 hours a week.You will have support from the Regional Dietitians for onboarding and any assistance you may need.

Pay:$40 / hour

Registered Dietitian Responsibilities:

• Coordinatenutritional care of patients and patients by completing nutritional assessments MDSs and care plans.
• Conducts a nutrition assessment for patients at nutritional risk per facility policies and procedures
• Develops and implements an individualized plan for nutrition intervention based on nutrition assessment and evidence-based standards
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team in meetings and/or rounds
• Experience with electronic charting the Nutrition Care Process and writing PES statements to provide appropriate documentation for the plan of care
• Works cooperatively with food service staff to ensure conformance to diet prescriptions
• Demonstrates accountability for the proper use of patients protected health information
• At least one year of acute care dietitian experience OR heavy in-patient clinical internship rotations
• Participate in care planning meetings as required
• Provide nutritional counseling and education for patients and family
• Meet DOH/state/federal and company standards

• Must be registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration
• Have MN state Licensure
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Experience with electronic charting
• Familiarity with state survey process and compliance to nutrition care regulation
