Job Summary
Tom Wood Aviation in Indianapolis INis searching foran IntermediateAvionics Technicianto become a reliable member of our team at the Indianapolis Metropolitan Airport. The ideal candidate has a keen attention to detail high-quality workmanship and ensures that all workcomplies withfederal aviation regulations company policies and safety standards.
Pay:
$28.00-$32.00 hourly
Responsibilities:
Independently troubleshoot diagnoseandrepairmore complex avionics issues.
Install calibrate and configure advanced avionics equipment including communicationnavigations and flight control systems.
Perform software updates and system modifications asrequired.
Interpret technical manuals schematics and engineering drawings to perform maintenance tasks.
Ensure compliance with FAAregulations company standards andaircraftmaintenance programs.
Mentor and provide guidance to Level 1 technicians promoting skill development.
Qualifications:
2-5 years of experience inaircraftavionics maintenance.
Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair complex avionics systems independently.
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
MUST HAVE-Valid drivers license with clean driving record
