The core work isaquaticecological surveying species identification andanalysingdata to assess the changing also support pollutiondroughtand flooding incident response.

The role is full of variety;withopportunities to buildexpertise.

We worktogetherin the field undertaking ecological field surveys of aquatic plants macroinvertebrates algae fishfreshwater habitatsalt marsh surveysondedeploymentand water quality chemical analysis

  • In our laboratory based in Salewe analyse samples of aquatic macroinvertebrates tomixed taxon level (including some tospecies)andidentifyalgae.
  • Fromourofficebased in Warringtonand out in the field wemonitorSondes interpret both ecology and chemistry data andwritecompelling reports to inform and influence partners protecting the environment through adviceregulationand enforcement.

Locationsincludelab officefieldandsomeappropriate workingfrom home.
