BIM Engineer- ELV
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical BIM Engineer specializing in Electrical Lighting & Vertical (ELV) systems to join our team in Bengaluru this role you will be responsible for developing coordinating and managing Building Information Models with a focus on ELV systems integration. You will work collaboratively with architects structural engineers and MEP teams to ensure seamless coordination and clash-free designs throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive BIM models for electrical lighting and vertical transportation systems using industry-standard software
- Perform clash detection and coordination analysis between ELV systems and other building disciplines
- Create detailed 3D models and construction documentation from architectural and engineering drawings
- Coordinate with MEP teams to resolve design conflicts and optimize system layouts
- Prepare BIM coordination reports and present findings to project stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with BIM standards protocols and project-specific requirements
- Manage model updates and maintain data integrity throughout the project phases
- Support the development of construction sequencing and installation planning using BIM data
- Collaborate with site teams to verify model accuracy and resolve on-site coordination issues
- Provide technical support and training to project team members on BIM processes and tools
Qualifications :
- Proficiency in Revit (MEP modules) and advanced modeling capabilities
- Strong experience with Navisworks for clash detection and coordination
- Solid knowledge of electrical systems lighting design and vertical transportation (elevators escalators)
- Demonstrated experience in BIM coordination on commercial or large-scale construction projects
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant design software
- Excellent understanding of MEP coordination workflows and construction documentation standards
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to organize complex information and manage multiple project deliverables simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional team collaboration
- Experience with BIM execution plans and project-specific modeling standards
- Knowledge of Indian building codes and construction practices (preferred)
- Familiarity with coordination software and project management tools (preferred)
