Overview

Are you ready to make a meaningful impact behind the scenes of a dynamic and forward-thinking corporate firm We are seeking an experienced HR & Practice Manager to join a team and play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our business.

This is a hands-on role where youll lead the charge in streamlining operations supporting our people agenda and ensuring consistency across multiple offices.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for day-to-day HR guidance.
  • Coach and support managers through employee relations matters ensuring fair and consistent resolutions.
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment delivering an exceptional candidate experience.
  • Oversee the monthly payroll cycle ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Maintain up-to-date confidential and compliant HR records and reporting.
  • Support the practical delivery of HR and people initiatives.
  • Assist with retention succession planning and organisational change.
  • Identify development needs and source valuable training opportunities.
  • Design and deliver internal training sessions.
  • Ensure offices are safe secure and welcoming.
  • Manage contractors and suppliers to maintain high standards.
  • Oversee office moves refurbishments and space planning.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in practice office or operational management within a professional services environment (legal sector experience is a plus).
  • Confident generalist HR knowledge including hands-on employee relations support.
  • Experience leading or supervising administration/business support teams.
  • Familiarity with managing suppliers contracts and office facilities.
  • Solid understanding of workplace health & safety in an office environment.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trust with colleagues at all levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook Word Excel PowerPoint and Teams).
  • Must have a driving license
