Job Summary
A well-known growing general contractor specializing in commercial and government projects is looking to add a Project Managerto step in and take ownership of projects from preconstruction through closeout.
What Youll Do
- Manage commercial state and federal construction projects from start to finish
- Oversee 13 projects at a time
- Develop and maintain project schedules including milestone tracking and lookaheads
- Manage budgets cost controls and financial forecasting
- Lead subcontractor buyout negotiations and coordination
- Handle RFIs submittals change orders and documentation
- Partner with estimators and leadership during bidding and preconstruction
- Conduct site visits across NYS and the Northeast to monitor progress and quality
- Ensure compliance with safety permits and regulatory requirements
- Lead project meetings and maintain strong communication with clients and stakeholders
What Theyre Looking For
- 3 years of construction project management experience
- Degree in Construction Management/Engineering or hands-on (homegrown) experience
- Strong skills in organization budgeting and problem-solving
- Confident communicator with solid team collaboration abilities
- Self-motivated and able to operate independently
- Salary: $75K$100K
- Bonus: Annual based on company performance
