The IT Manager is responsible for leading site-level information technology services that enable manufacturing operations enterprise systems and regulatory compliance. This role ensures that IT infrastructure ERP platforms and production-supporting technologies operate reliably securely and in alignment with corporate standards.
The position plays a key role in manufacturing support ERP implementation and migration efforts and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance partnering closely with Operations Finance Engineering Quality and Corporate IT. Due to the production-critical nature of the role this position requires a consistent onsite presence.
Key Responsibilities IT & Manufacturing Support
Lead day-to-day IT operations supporting manufacturing and business functions.
Provide onsite support for production-critical systems and plant-floor technologies.
Ensure availability reliability and performance of manufacturing-supporting IT systems.
Partner with Operations and Engineering on automation data collection and continuous improvement initiatives.
Act as escalation point for IT issues impacting production shipping or business operations.
ERP Systems & Business Applications
Support ERP implementation migration upgrades and ongoing operations.
Coordinate ERP testing go-live and post-implementation stabilization activities.
Ensure ERP systems properly support manufacturing inventory and financial processes.
Support ERP integrations with manufacturing shop-floor and reporting systems.
Compliance Cybersecurity & SOX
Execute and maintain IT controls in support of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance.
Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and evidence.
Ensure adherence to corporate cybersecurity access control and change management standards.
Infrastructure & Operations
Oversee onsite IT infrastructure including networks servers endpoints and shop-floor devices.
Ensure systems meet uptime performance and security requirements.
Support disaster recovery and business continuity planning and testing.
Leadership & Vendor Management
Lead and develop onsite IT staff and contractors.
Coordinate with corporate IT teams and external vendors.
Manage IT vendors and support services aligned with site needs and budget.
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Information Technology Engineering Business Systems or equivalent experience.
7 years of progressive IT experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Prior experience in an IT leadership or supervisory role.
Experience supporting ERP systems including implementation or migration activities.
Working knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) IT controls.
Ability to work onsite in a manufacturing environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in aerospace manufacturing or regulated industries.
Experience supporting operational technology (OT) or plant-floor systems.
Exposure to IoT Industry 4.0 or smart manufacturing initiatives.
