The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for apassionate and motivated Physiotherapist (Grade 2)to join ourAllied Health & Chronic Disease Care Team for a Max term 12-month period (8th June 2026 11th June 2027) ideally as a full-time employee however (0.8 EFT part time considered).
Working within amultidisciplinary allied health environment you will deliverevidence-based client-centred physiotherapy servicesto adult clients with a diverse range of needs including:
- Chronic disease and complex health conditions
- Progressive neurological conditions
- Disability support and rehabilitation
- Age-related health and mobility conditions
You will receivestrong clinical support from our Senior Clinician Physiotherapy and broader Physiotherapy team ensuring you continue to grow and develop professionally.
This is a Max Term Fulltime Parental Leave position is primarily based at ourDoncaster site with opportunities to work across multiple AccessHC locations and within the community.
About the role
This position offers adiverse and rewarding caseloadand the opportunity to deliver physiotherapy services across a variety of settings including:
- Clinic-based appointments
- Client home visits
- Community settings
- Telehealth services
- Group-based rehabilitation and exercise programs
You will play a key role in supporting clients toimprove mobility independence and quality of life with a strong focus onempowerment prevention and self-management.

What you will be doing Key responsibilities
- Deliver timely safe and evidence-based physiotherapy serviceswithin your professional scope of practice
- Conductcomprehensive assessments treatment planning and rehabilitation programs
- Provideindividual therapy education and goal-based interventionsto support client independence
- Design and facilitategroup exercise and health programs
- Supportself-management and preventative health strategies
- Collaborate closely withmultidisciplinary allied health teamsto optimise client outcomes
- Maintainaccurate clinical documentation and data reportingaligned with funding requirements
- Participate inclinical supervision professional development and quality improvement initiatives
- Contribute tostudent supervision and allied health assistant delegation where appropriate
What you will bring Key Selection Criteria
- Bachelor of Physiotherapy (or equivalent)
- Current AHPRA registration as a Physiotherapist
- Minimum 2 years experience in community health hospital disability or private practice
- Demonstrated experience supporting clients with neurological disability chronic disease or age-related conditions
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Strong clinical reasoning communication and documentation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and clinical software systems
