Job Summary

Job Overview

This role in IQVIAs Ethics and Compliance Office (ECO) focused on the Companys business in Europe and Latin America has two primary responsibilities. The incumbent: (1) is an Ethics and Compliance field team member handling the full range of ethics and compliance field matters; and (2) has dedicated responsibilities in support of our Ethics Line matters including investigations systems processes and projects.

Essential Functions

  • Field Team Member

    • Drive a culture of ethics and compliance across IQVIA; champion IQVIAs ethics and compliance program

    • Drive and support all elements of IQVIAs healthcare compliance program including but not limited to training and communications; standards (Code of Conduct and policies); risk assessment audit and monitoring

    • Provide guidance regarding ethics and compliance matters in accordance with Company policies and applicable laws regulations and guidance.

    • Develop and drive preventive and remedial actions

    • Oversee compliance-related activities for mergers/acquisitions and integrations.

    • Partner with other Company departments including Legal Internal Audit Human Resources and Quality Assurance

    • Liaise with Compliance Champions

    • Maintain a strong knowledge of relevant healthcare compliance law and guidance

    • Educate leadership employees and third parties

    • Support business development efforts including with responses to RFIs RFPs customer presentations

    • Develop and improve standards and controls

    • Collaborate with other field team and ECO members on various efforts and projects including but not limited to efficiency and artificial intelligence efforts

  • Ethics Line Support

    • Address various Ethics Line reports and allegations

    • Assist with triaging and management of Ethics Line and other investigation matters; liaise with other departments and resources to who such matters are triaged

    • Manage and/or conduct investigations and guide resources who do not regularly conduct investigations

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree

  • 10 years of experience of increasing responsibility in health care compliance or related area (e.g. internal audit or quality assurance) ideally for a life sciences company (e.g. pharma med tech)

  • Experience providing and driving compliance guidance in a global environment

  • Experience managing and conducting complex investigations

  • Experience with forensic review and discovery and working with vendors/outside counsel

  • Demonstrated ability to lead compliance-related projects and activities

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Solid understanding of the legal and regulatory environment in which the company operates

  • Excellent oral and written communication presentation project management skills

  • Strong business acumen

  • Ability to effectively interact with company senior leadership regarding organization compliance matters

  • Ability to work creatively in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers managers and third parties

  • Experience using and adopting AI

  • Services company (e.g. CRO) experience a plus
