Salary & Benefits:

Basic salary: R75 000 per month

Our client a well-established organisation within the production and equipment services industry is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join their Cape Town team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the full finance function ensuring accurate financial reporting compliance cash flow management operational finance processes and effective team management.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the full finance function and oversee daily financial operations
Authorise invoices supplier payments journals and financial transactions in line with company policies and budgets
Prepare and manage budgets management accounts cash flow forecasts and financial reports
Perform balance sheet reconciliations debtor and creditor reviews and tax calculations
Monitor debtors ageing and follow up on outstanding or problematic accounts
Review and approve payroll overtime leave and related payroll submissions
Ensure inventory management systems accurately align with financial records
Manage internal and external audits and ensure regulatory and financial compliance
Oversee procurement processes supplier negotiations and cost-saving initiatives
Prepare reports for management and relevant stakeholders
Lead support and manage a small finance team
Maintain strong stakeholder relationships and ensure operational efficiency across the finance department

Requirements:

Bachelors Degree in Finance or related field
Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar Finance Management role
Previous experience managing a team is essential
Strong operational accounting and finance management experience
Experience within manufacturing production operations or similar industries would be advantageous
Experience with inventory management and inventory systems is highly advantageous
Exposure to SAP and/or InspHire would be beneficial
Strong analytical organisational and reporting skills
High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
