BRANCH FINANCIAL MANAGER
Paarl

A well-established automotive dealership is seeking to appoint a Branch Financial Manager to take responsibility for the full financial function of the dealership. Reporting to the Group Financial Manager the successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring sound financial management strong internal controls accurate reporting and commercial decision-making while supporting the Dealer Principal and management team.

This opportunity is ideally suited to a hands-on financial professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced retail environment and partnering closely with operations to drive profitability and business performance.



RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee the day-to-day financial management and accounting function of the dealership.
  • Prepare monthly management accounts and ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Manage cash flow budgeting and financial controls.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory tax and company reporting requirements.
  • Partner with operational management to analyse vehicle parts and service performance and improve profitability.
  • Monitor inventory margins and departmental financial performance.
  • Maintain and strengthen internal control processes across all departments.
  • Lead mentor and develop the finance and administration team.
  • Support the Group Financial Manager with financial analysis reporting and strategic initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field will be advantageous.
  • 25 years financial management experience preferably within the automotive retail industry.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Experience on dealership management systems such as Pinewood or Pinnacle will be advantageous.
  • Strong analytical organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to perform effectively in a deadline-driven environment.
