BRANCH FINANCIAL MANAGER

A well-established automotive dealership is seeking to appoint a Branch Financial Manager to take responsibility for the full financial function of the dealership. Reporting to the Group Financial Manager the successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring sound financial management strong internal controls accurate reporting and commercial decision-making while supporting the Dealer Principal and management team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee the day-to-day financial management and accounting function of the dealership.
- Prepare monthly management accounts and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Manage cash flow budgeting and financial controls.
- Ensure compliance with statutory tax and company reporting requirements.
- Partner with operational management to analyse vehicle parts and service performance and improve profitability.
- Monitor inventory margins and departmental financial performance.
- Maintain and strengthen internal control processes across all departments.
- Lead mentor and develop the finance and administration team.
- Support the Group Financial Manager with financial analysis reporting and strategic initiatives.
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field will be advantageous.
- 25 years financial management experience preferably within the automotive retail industry.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office suite.
- Experience on dealership management systems such as Pinewood or Pinnacle will be advantageous.
- Strong analytical organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to perform effectively in a deadline-driven environment.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen.
- High levels of integrity and attention to detail.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills.
- A proactive hands-on approach with the ability to influence operational performance.
- The ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the business.
